Our Next Contract: What do we want and how do we get it?

Join UUP members from across the state to engage in a rank and file led discussion on our next contract. We will open with a discussion of our contract and negotiations history. Next, we will discuss negotiation strategy and how the process can be more transparent via open bargaining. We will discuss the benefits of mass member mobilization and strike readiness to stave off another unacceptable 20 months without a contract.

You can have a crucial role in building a more powerful contract. We will have 20 minute breakout groups tasked with discussing and coming up with ideas for demands and strategy, then followed by a 20 minute full-forum discussion on the same with goal of identifying leading demands and strategy, as well as next steps to build support for these within UUP.
