Labor Day Parade

The 2021 Labor Day Parade is Monday September 6th.  The parade line up starts at 11AM at the Corner of Dorrance Circle and McKinley Parkway, Buffalo, NY.

 

I urge you to participate for a variety of reasons: to show solidarity, to show appreciation for our frontliner colleagues, to begin exchanging ideas going into a contract year and most of all the experience an authentic WNY Labor Day experience!

 

We will be marching in close quarters and even though we’ll be outside, consider wearing a mask to protect your union colleagues. 

 

If you have vaccinated children, please bring them masked, they will enjoy the event and the candy. Please don’t bring non vaccinated children. 

 

I strongly recommend not vaccinated members to sit this year out as the delta variant so easily spread and the parade is not worth risking getting sick. Or consider getting vaccinated?
