It’s time to #VaxUpUUP!

Over the last 15 months, the COVID-19 pandemic has had devastating effects across our country and the world. With over 50% of adults in the United States fully vaccinated and infection rates dropping, it’s clear that the vaccine is our best resource for keeping our communities safe and ending this pandemic. UUP members have been on the frontlines of the pandemic caring for patients at SUNY hospitals and supporting students through remote and in-person learning at campuses for over a year. Your commitment to our collective work of keeping our communities healthy and educating the next generation of leaders is vitally important.

Let’s honor that commitment by doing everything we can do to protect our colleagues, students, families and communities. If you have not already, I encourage you to make an appointment to get the COVID-19 vaccine, if you can, to ensure the health of yourself and others. You can find a vaccine appointment here.

We have developed a digital toolkit with social media graphics, email signatures, Zoom backgrounds and more to show your vaccine pride and encourage others to get vaccinated. You can find those resources here. Join me in spreading the word about this effective and safe tool, the COVID-19 vaccination, that we can use to fight this pandemic together.
