Dear Buffalo Center and Buffalo HSC UUP Members,
As we negotiate our new UUP contract with New York State, it is essential that union members are up to date on what's happening at the table and that we are all involved in the process of fighting for the strongest possible contract. Our most recent Negotiations Bulletin has now been posted on the UUP Members Only webpage, and we invite all UUP members to educate ourselves and our colleagues about the key issues that are being bargained in this round.
This bulletin provides an overview of the proposals presented so far by the State and UUP on Health Benefits, Leaves, Job Security, Telecommuting, Grievance and Disciplinary procedures among others. It also looks ahead to forthcoming proposals on compensation, and outlines ways that members can get involved in organizing for the best possible agreement.
