Apply for 2nd round of IDA Awards

The 2nd  round of funding for the Individual Development Award (IDA) program is currently open for applications from members of the Health Sciences Chapter (HSC) of UUP. This 2nd round of funding covers activities from July 2, 2023 to July 1, 2024. For HSC members the application deadline is January 31, 2024.

The IDA Program is intended to assist eligible employees to develop their full professional potential and to prepare for advancement.

The IDA is a re-imbursement program; all allowable activities must be initially paid using personal funds. All funding requests must conform to the State Comptroller's Rules and Regulations and limitations contained therein. Some Expenditure Limitations can be found at: General Program Information (ny.gov)

Employees may request re-imbursement for up to two projects or activities during the July 2, 2023 to July 1, 2024 period. However, the total award cannot exceed $2000.

Use your name in the file name plus a numbering if submitting 2 applications.  For HSC members, the deadline for submission is January 31, 2024
