Legislative Session Report 2026
The 2026 Legislative Session has ended and due to strong membership engagement, UUP had another successful year. I have attached our 2026 end of session report that outlines our collective victories. As you can see, we are engaged on a large number of legislative actions that impact our work.
Our success is a product of the efforts of UUP Director of Legislative and Political Affairs Chris Black, his fantastic staff and - of course - the dedication and commitment of so many of you in advocating for UUP.
Now we need to get engaged in the political activities that must be a central focus for all of us as we get closer to election day in November. It's never too early to get geared up for this incredibly important election and you will be getting information on how we need to get out on behalf of the candidates who are our allies in all of our advocacy work and in defending what we do for the people of New York.
